Property is NOT waterfront or within 30 minute drive of a lake, ocean or river.
Okanagan, Kalamalka, and Swan lakes are all approximately 30-40 minutes away. Summer rental is usually monthly.
Ski/Board Out is a 5 minute walk from the property
Location, Location, Location. Distance to the ski slopes from this home is measured in feet, not yards or meters. Access is truly an effortless ski-in and ski-out. The slope-side hot tub and front entry deck is approximately three feet from the ski slope. Ski in access is off Mid-T Lift, Christmas Bowl, Attridge Runs, and Back Bowl Runs. Ski out access is over bridge to Silver Queen Quad or approximately 80 meters the other direction to the Mid T. Adults can sit on the covered deck (or in the upper bedroom) and watch their children load and ski the entire Mid T. Great area for tobogganing and snow forts. Skiers familiar with Silver Star will remember and recognize this home as "the home right by the skier overpass". Look for "F-14" on Resort Map.

Airport
The Kelowna airport is about a 1 minute drive/taxi from the property. Kelowna International airport is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour away.
Golf Courses
There are 8 courses within a walking or driving distance. Vernon is home to some of the finest Golf in the Okanagan Valley. Spring skiers can enjoy a round of golf and ski on the the same day, no problems. Predator Ridge does not usually open until Silver Star has closed for the season but Vernon Golf & Country and Spallumcheen Golf & Country (Championship 18 and 27 hole courses) are always open well before the end of the ski season. There are also 3 or 4 executive 9 and 18 hole courses operational during spring skiing.
Shopping and Dining
The shops and restaurants are about a 5 minute walk from the property. Silver Star Village is fairly well contained with many eating establishments, licenced premises, grocery, video, liquor store, and numerous ski and souvenir shops. The walk to the Village is 5 to 10 minutes and also a 5 to 10 minute walk to Tube-Town and Brewers Skating Pond. Skate rentals are available at Brewers Pond. Most guests never leave the village during their ski holiday but Butcher Boys food store is a very well stocked favorite grocery store approximately 15-20 minutes down the hill, and all the shops of Vernon are within 25 minutes.

Payment Methods
Money Order or Cashiers Cheque, Personal Cheque. (Available for guests booking or more days prior to arrival)
Booking Deposit
The booking is confirmed with a deposit of 50 percent of the rent.
Payment Balance
Balance of payment is due 45 days prior to arrival.
We prefer payment by 3 personal cheques or money orders sent at the time of confirmation of booking. The first for 50% of the outstanding balance, the 2nd cheque for the balance of the rent post dated for 1 day after arrival, and a third cheque for the damage deposit of one night's rent (dated for your departure day) which will either be returned to you in person or mailed back to you upon your departure with no damage. With the exception of deposits, 90 days or more in advance, and the security/damage deposits, all non Canadian funds MUST be paid in bank draft, money order or cashiers cheque.
