This 1920's 2-room Cottage has a private deck with gas grill. Just seconds from Vermont's popular VAST system, you can bring your snowmobiles and ride them from the door! If skiing is more your thing, it is a short drive to Sugarbush, Mad River Glen and Bolton. Complete with a brook and waterfall, there are 36 acres of fields and wooded trails available on site for plenty of outdoor fun. Many fine and affordable dining choices are just up the road in Montpelier, the State Capitol, or you can choose to stock the fridge and eat in!

    • Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). The Northfield Country Club is a 5-minute drive from The Woods. This course features the Dog River coming into play on five holes. The course is green year-round. The signature hole, nicknamed the "volcano," is #4, a 161-yard, par 3, featuring a green in the shape of a volcano. All the greens are well bunkered, so accurate iron shots are essential. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round. Season: Apr 15 to Oct 15
    • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Within a 20-45 minute drive are 5 downhill and 5 cross country ski establishments.
    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 20 minute(s). Within 5-15 miles of dining and shopping.

    Payments and Policies
    Payment Details
    The payment policy is flexible and can be worked out with the owner. A credit card is required for a security/damage deposit. If you cancel less than 3 days prior, payments (less one night's rental) are refunded.

    *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed. A Crib can be provided.
    • Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM.
    • Dogs and Cats are allowed but must be approved by the Owner. A fee of 5.00/pet/day will apply.
    • There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
    • No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
