Discount: Senior's discount May, June, Sept, Oct - 10% off. Only 7 night bookings, arriving Saturday afternoon and departing Saturday morning. Monthly rate Oct 08-May 09 $900, monthly bookings only during this time, flat will be cleaned prior to arrival but not during tenancy from October to June.

1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). The master bedroom is a quiet, private space with bed, dresser and closet. 1 Double Futon Bed (sleeps 2). An ocean-side bedroom with wonderful views, a dresser and closet. The comfortable double futon can serve as a bed or this room makes a wonderful ocean side den. 1 Double Bed. Quiet middle bedroom with lots of storage and a gorgeous antique cherry double sleigh bed.

Bathroom 1 has toilet, bathtub w/ jets, shower, hair dryer and one basin.

A million dollar panoramic ocean view over Lunenburg Bay and across the water to the wooded area at Feltzen south. The location is such that one can absorb the beauty of both the sunrise and the sunset over the ocean from the deck or inside on the ocean side of the house. Fascinating views of the coming and going of the famous Bluenose (Lunenburg is her home port) as well as other tall masted schooners, working fishing boats and seals and sea birds that frequent the harbour.

• Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Nova Scotia has many wonderful golf courses, several of which are within a half hour's drive (eg. Osprey Ridge in Bridgewater was voted the best new course in Canada in 2001; it is 15 minutes away in Bridgewater). Lunenburg Golf Course can be seen across the bay from the house and is a very good 9-hole course.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 90 minute(s). It is an easy drive of just over an hour to Martok near Windsor. Wentworth ski hill is about 2 hours away. Excellent cross country skiing is very close.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Lunenburg itself is a delightful place for shopping with many craft and antique stores as well as 2 good grocery stores. Scotia Trawlers Food Store is a few hundred yards from the house and is an old fashioned outfitters store, with fresh fish right off their boats as well as a full selection of groceries, meats and produce (and many other interesting items--you could get your own sou'wester!!). Furthermore, the service is old-fashioned. They will carry your groceries right into your kitchen. Shopping in the many other small towns and villages is equally interesting. There are also excellent farm markets, including one in Lunenburg every Thursday in the warm weather. Larger super markets that carry a wide range of foods are in Bridgewater, 15 minutes drive away. The cosmopolitan city of Halifax is only 1 hour away.
• Unit is right on the ocean. From the house, the deck or the yard one can experience the ocean first hand. Because the unit is right on the ocean, one can directly experience the sea in sights, sounds and smells. The shore below the house is walkable but not suitable for swimming. There are many world class sand beaches within a 15 -30 minute drive.

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments are refunded if the unit is re-rented.

• Check in after 4:00PM and check out before 10:00AM.

• Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 10:00PM and 8:00AM.
