The view from the deck, livingroom and kitchen is of Okanagan Lake and the forested areas in between this property and the water (approx. 1000' to the beach). The lot is very private. There is only one house (see owner Direct Unit #19408) that can be seen to the north.

Possible free airport transfer to your unit (discuss with owner). Bookings must generally begin on a Sunday. Owners live above property, two people & 1 Dog, and are quiet.

• Golf: can be reached by walking for 20 minute(s). Many world class golf courses resorts in the area.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Located between Big White (1 hr) and Silver Star (45 mins)
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 20 minute(s). The nearest town is Winfield and is a short drive away (5 km). Winfield offers an IGA and Coopers grocery stores as well as fast food outlets, library (internet service), video rentals, liquor store, restaurants, pubs, drop-in medical clinic and much more. There is a small Par 3 golf course & driving range (Aspen Grove)
• Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is sand and rocks. There are miles of beaches within a short 2km drive away or you can walk down the forested hill (you have to walk back up though!) to the beach or down the road to a pathway on the hill that leads to beach. Okanagan Centre offers a free public boat launch and is a safe harbour (emergency docking). An excellent hiking/ mountain biking trail is located right across the road. The Kettle Valley Trail is a 45 minute drive away and offers one of the best recreational mountian biking / hiking experiences in Canada. The Gray Monk Winery is just up the road. The property is located halfway between Vernon and Kelowna - 25 minutes to either. Miles of beach are a short drive away (~2km)or guests may walk down the hillside (but you must walk back up!). There is a free public boat launch and safe harbour dock in Okanagan Centre. There is no moorage but boats can be easily pulled out each day. Beach towels / small folding chairs are provided in suite.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

The rent, required to complete the booking, is 50% (balance due 30 days in advance). A security deposit of $200 is required. If you cancel, your rent will be refunded (less a $50 handling fee) if the unit is re-rented.

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed but this unit is not suitable for persons under the age of 12.
• Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 12:00 PM.
• Dogs are allowed but must be approved by the Owner.
• Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
