HIKING - price includes one 2-3 hour guided mountain hike from our back door to a spectacular lookout above Okanagan Lake, early in your visit. Pack a picnic, bring good runners or hiking boots for this moderate to difficult hike. Then enjoy a swim in the lake, or the hot tub on your wrap-around ground level deck adjacent to terraced gardens with waterfall feature. My home is also shared with two sweet cats and a gentle dog.

It offers IGA and Cooper's grocery stores, fast food outlets, library @ internet service, video rentals, boat and jetski rentals, liquor store, restaurants, pubs, medical clinic, and a Par 3 golf course at Aspen Grove. An excellent hiking/mountain bike trail is located across the road. The Kettle Valley Trail is a 45 minute drive away and offers one of the best recreational mountain biking/hiking experiences in Canada. Gray Monk Winery is just up the road for tours and lunch. The property is located halfway between Vernon and Kelowna(25 minute drive to either city).
    • Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is sand and rocks. Miles of beach are a short drive (2 km) away or guests may walk down to the beach - the return walk is uphill. Kopje Regional Park is approx. 9km away. It has a playground and a grassy picnic area beside a sand and rock beach. There are small folding beach chairs available at the suite.

    Payment Details
    50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 200 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 50) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.

    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed but this unit is not suitable for children under the age of 8.
    • Check in after 4:00PM and check out before 12:00PM.
    • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
    • Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 11:00PM and 7:00AM.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. No housekeeping is provided during a stay.
