Bed Summary

Master Bedroom

1 Queen Bed. The master Bedroom is on the lower level with its own en-suite. The en-suite is very deluxe with Jacuzzi tub, a large shower and a private toilet room. There is a closet in this room with adequate shelving space.

1 Queen Bed. This room is on the upper floor. It has its own TV with cable-vision. There is a closet with shelving and a dresser drawer in this room. The bedding is matching and good quality fabric.

1 Queen Bed. This room has a new queen bed with matching good quality bedding. There is a closet with shelving space and a dresser.

Recreation Room

1 Queen Hide-A-Bed/Sofa bed. The sofabed is in the rec-room in the lower level. You would share the en-suite bath with the other bedroom on this level. Beautiful lake view from this room.

Bathrooms

Bathroom 1 has toilet, shower and one basin.
Bathroom 2 has toilet, bathtub w/ jets, shower and one basin.

The View from the beach house is west, overlooking the Okanagan Lake. See south to Lake Okanagan Resort and north to Fintry Estates. Watch the long summer sunsets from your deck.

More Information

Located on its own private beach on the east side of Okanagan Lake for the long summer sunsets. Beach is part sun and part shade. Large fire pit. Lawn swing in the shade for long afternoon naps. Lots of vegetation to encourage birds. Fabulous bird watching. Private buoy for boat and a canoe with 2 life jackets for your pleasure.

• Winfield is a small town 6 mins away with 2 large grocery stores, banks, fast foods, drug stores, liquor stores etc.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Located in the middle of some of the best Golf Courses in the valley. Predator Ridge is 20 mins on a nice country road. The Bear and The Quail are 15 mins and Kelowna Springs is 20 mins drive. We have a par 3 course called Aspen Grove in Winfield which is a 6 min drive. This course is great for the non serious golfer and children learning to golf.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 90 minute(s). Approx. 1 hour and 15 mins to Big White Ski Resort and approx. 1 hour from Silver Star Mountain.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Winfield is 6 minutes away for all your day to day shopping needs. We boast the best Greek Restaurant in the valley and one of the best Wineries in the Okanagan Valley...Grey Monk is in our back yard. It has a fabulous restaurant of 5 star quality open for lunch and dinner. If you enjoy wine, it is a nice walk up the hill for some sampling.
• Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is large pebbles. There is a moorage float/anchor. The view from both the upper deck and lower deck of the lake is only obstructed by a few large trees that provide shade on the decks in the mid afternoon. You can see south to Okanagan Lake Resort and north to Fintry on the west side. There is a lovely nature path that leads to the beach which is about a 1 minute walk from the home. The beach is a wonderful place to relax and read in the shade on a lawn swing. It is also wonderful for sun-tanning and swimming. Take your picnic to the beach...roast some hot-dogs or marshmallows in the evening (if there is no fire ban) The water is very clear and clean. There are no weeds in the water. It is not in a high traffic area for boat travel or skiers so the waters are calm on a calm day. Great for water skiing and swimming. There is lots of nature on this beach lot. Most of the natural vegetation has been left to enhance birds and the birds are very happy because of it. The natural vegetation also provides privacy from the lake traffic. It is a place where your vacation will be a stress free zone. Come and relax.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 45 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 is required. If you cancel less than 45 days prior, payments (less 50) are refunded if re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Direct Bank Deposit - Cash
Direct Bank Deposits for 50% of booking fee made 48 hours after booking. The balance may be made by direct bank deposit or personal cheque dated 45 days prior to arrival

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 4:00PM and check out before 12:00PM.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. No housekeeping is provided during a stay.
