Between July 2 and August 31 Guests may only arrive on: Saturday.
The price includes daily gardener for the pool, towels, linens and electricity.
If people rent for 2 weeks there will be a discount of 10%.
Final cleaning is not included in the rent. You pay 300 Euros at your arrival. On departure the house and its contents should be left in a tidy state.
It is possible to rent only the Guest House with the 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and private use of the pool and the courtyard. The prices are less than half than those quoted for the whole property.

There are 2 kitchens in the house, one Old original Salentina kitchen but is fully equipped and it has a huge fireplace where people can barbeque. There is a new kitchen in the Guest House with a big dining table that can sit 16 people in front. It is an open space kitchen. There are 3 fridges around the house and the 2 kitchens are independent so they are both all equipped.

The Unit is located in the center of the town of Giurdignano so the view is of local houses, the church and an Orange Tree Garden of the neighbor. You hear the stroke of the church's bells.
The town of Giurdignano is a very small village of 1000 inhabitants situated in the beautiful country side surrounded by olive trees just 10 minutes away from the famous town of Otranto. It is famous for the presence of megalithic monuments dolmen or menhir, of an archaeological site called "Le Centoporte" and of a church-cripta of San Salvatore that is located in the square. The house is in the center and it is nice in the summer to participate to local fiestas and the life of the village. Nearby are some natural Parks called Alimini and beautiful rock or sandy beaches in the area of Otranto. The owners can organise to go to a private beach club if requested.
The house is original Salentino Palazzo dating 1762 with all vaulted rooms and 4 big chimneys. There are 2 Arab style courtyards, one with a pool. The house has maintained original material and floors but the owners have added a lot of their taste and good comfort. A guest house has been added on the other side of the main courtyard, beautifully restored by a Milanese architect. The old Palazzo includes a big kitchen with fireplace, 3 bedrooms and one bathroom in the main floor and 3 bedrooms and one bathroom on the first floor, which also has a very large terrace. In the Guest house there is a loft style kitchen/living room, chimney, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There are many art pieces in the house that belong to the private collection of the owners. The house is fully equipped and most of the furniture and ceramics come from local crafts.

• Nearby Attractions: Nearby there is a Natural Park where people can do bird watching, it is ideal for biking because the country is flat and there are no hills. You can do a path along the coast of Otranto with mountain bikes and then continue on regular panoramic roads up to Leuca and then Gallipoli. You can rent motor boats and sailing boats in the harbor of Otranto. It is possible to organise wine tours to taste local Salentino wine and cooking lessons to learn how to prepare orecchiette and different local dishes. At the end, it is also possible to have a guided tour of the artistic towns (ex Lecce, Ostuni, Otranto etc) with a English speaking guide. For people who like to dance, we can have a Pizzica teacher coming at the Palazzo to entertain and teach the steps of this famous Puglian dance.
50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 45 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 2,000 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 150) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Direct Bank Deposit
The rent should be paid in 2 installments. The first one of 50% at time of confirmation done by email and the second one 45 days before the beginning of the let. In case of rentals entered into within the 40 days of the beginning of the let, the whole sum is due at the time of reservation.

• Smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed. A High Chair can be provided with a deposit/fee of: 20 euros.
• Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• Dogs and Cats are allowed but must be approved by the Owner.
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of 10 euros per hour.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
