It's a short walk to the area surrounding the Sacre Cour, easily the best vantage of the Paris area we found. Abesses subway stop is around a 2 minutes walk and allows travel to anywhere. Plenty of markets, shops, cafes, boulangeries, sites. The owners were very quick to answer e-mails and were honest & forthright in all dealings.
