The safe sheltered water is ideal for kayaking or sailing. Low bank waterfront with direct access to the deep water dock ensure that your stay can be fun and convenient. Imagine kayaking across the harbour to do the groceries, stopping in at a coffee shop or art gallery before returning home. It is easy to swim around the bay with little boat traffic to disturb the peace. Children can swim safely - with supervision, close to the shore.

There are two sea kayaks available with the property for people who have the skills required to use them. There are also two adult mountain bikes and a youth (age 6-8) bike at the property for use.

There is a shingle beach at the bottom of the garden with lots to explore - starfish and crabs are usually plentiful.
