Beautiful serene location at Otter Bay marina on Pender Island

Whether you like to relax and read a book on the deck, lounge by the swimming pools, walk along the marina, golf, visit the islands winery - the choices are endless. Pender Island is one of the Southern Gulf Islands which lie in the picturesque waters between Vancouver and Victoria. The island has many accessible beaches as well as many trails for hiking. The view at the top of Mt Norman is breathtaking and the beachcombing for star fish is a wonderful past time. Kayaks and bicycles are available for rent from the store near the swimming pools. Kayaking around Otter Bay is alot of fun!

The kitchen is well supplied with all the basics including wine glasses, cork screw, potato peeler, fry pan and BBQ utensils. The general store located by the swimming pool sells bags of ice, milk, condiments and other basic supplies.

Master Bedroom
1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). There are two ends tables with lamps, a dresser and a small closet to hang clothes; all bedding and bathroom towels are supplied; please bring your own beach towels

1 Queen or 2 Singles Bed (sleeps 2). The loft overlooks the Family Room; there is a large dresser and two single beds (one bed rolls out from under the other 'Captain' bed); the loft offers a great view of the marina

1 Double Hide-A-Bed/Sofa Bed (sleeps 2). Bedding and pillows for the sofa bed is supplied

Bathroom 1 has toilet, bathtub, shower, hair dryer and one basin.

Distances
• Victoria International Airport is within a 15 minute(s) drive. It is a 15 minute drive to the Swartz Bay Ferry terminals and then a short 30 minute ferry ride to Pender Island/Otter Bay. Once you arrive on Pender Island the cottage is located a short distance up the hill from the terminal. Walking is possible.
• Transit: can be reached by walking for 1 minute(s). Type of transit is Shuttle. There is a shuttle van that will take guests from Otter Bay to the shops, eateries, grocery store, bakery and other facilities at the 'Driftwood Center'.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 5 minute(s). There are 1 golf course(s) nearby.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 15 minute(s). There are a variety of restaurants on the island or you can purchase fresh crab daily from a local fisherman at Hope Bay.
• Ocean is located within a 2 minute(s) walk. Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is sand and rocks. There is a dock and moorage float/anchor. The dock is private. The ocean water is very cold so swimming isn't advisable. Beachcombing or looking at the scenic view from the beach is wonderful. Kayaking or canoeing is a must! Beach Equipment: Rentals Nearby.
• Nearby Attractions: Poets Cove Spa is a 30 minute drive from Otter Bay.
Payments and Policies
Payment Details
25% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 10 days in advance). There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 150) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit - Cash
*Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
Policies
• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
• Pool heat is included in rates.
