Special Conditions

The home is in a rural area and operates on a septic system. Absolutely NOTHING other than toilet paper must be used in the toilets (no: baby wipes, tampons, condoms, makeup pads, cotton balls, and such). *Guests will be charged a $500 service fee for septic failure.
A $50 refundable "yard clean up" fee will be held, for those guests who bring their dogs. Refund upon successful yard inspection.

The home has 2 fully equipped kitchens with all large and small appliances. The larger kitchen is on the upper floor, the smaller kitchen is on the main, or lower floor. Both kitchens enter outside onto large deck areas, complete with deck furniture.

View

From the large front deck there are great views of Skaha Lake and the mountains west to Apex Ski Resort. The north views are to Penticton and west to Kaleden. The 2 back decks view east and south to Fire Mountain and Eagle Bluffs. There are deck chairs and tables to help you relax, and stay watching for awhile! Guests will report seeing a variety of wild birds such as bald eagles and red tailed hawks, singing finches and humming birds - as well as many deer and their fawns.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance on arrival - cash or traveler's check). A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 is required. If you cancel 30 or more days prior, payments (less 25%) are refunded.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque (Available for guests booking 30 or more days prior to arrival) - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit - Cash - Email Money Transfer

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed but this unit is not suitable for persons under the age of 25.
• Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 12:00 PM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• A maximum of 1 Dog is allowed under 40lbs (14kg) in size but must be approved by the Owner. A fee of $200 will apply.
• Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
