In a magnificent quiet setting and surrounded by woods on extensive secluded grounds, this very peaceful and elegant 18th-century property is large and spacious with lots of characterful aspects. It enjoys a large swimming pool and hard tennis court. With huge fireplaces, a lovely old-style kitchen and original stone tiled floors, this is an exceptional property and only a few miles from the town of Cubjac. Close by is the river Vézére which has a beach and canoeing. The large trendy town of Périgueux is less than half an hour's drive and is full of shops, busy cafes and restaurants offering free evening concerts as well as markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Horse riding can be found at Cornille and there is horse riding and a good restaurant to be found at Haras of Cornille. Do not miss a visit to the gardens at the Chateau of Hautefort. Parking. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
