    Pet Friendly. The lake house is barefoot summer fun with a low maintenance approach. Designed for those that plan to spend most of their time on the lake, or taking advantage of all the surrounding outdoor fun, this is a no muss, no fuss kind of home. At the end of the evening take advantage of the spacious deck and watch the sun set behind the magnificent desert hills surrounding Palmer lake as you fire up the BBQ or savor the local Okanagan wine. This lake house is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home; The front door entry leads to a large sun room, perfect for coffee in the morning. We also provide two crates for dogs. The sun room has huge west facing bay windows, which look out to Palmer lake. A full sized kitchen meets you as you enter the house, with a bar and bar stools for casual morning breakfast. We also have a dining table that seats 12. Designed for comfort and group gatherings, our living area has seating for plenty. The master bedroom has a king bed and en-suite bathroom. The bedroom next to the master has a bunk bed with a twin on top and a double on the bottom. There are two bedrooms located downstairs. One bedroom has a double bed. The other bedroom sleeps up to three, with a twin bunk and a twin bed. Our spacious downstairs also has a fold out coach, a futon, extra twin beds in storage, a media room, and direct access to the yard and to the lake from the back door. The grassy yard is perfect for badminton, volleyball or horseshoes. At the water's edge weve crafted a haven in the shade of a Russian Olive and wild Apple trees. Weve named the spot Gypsy's as it is easy to lose track of the day or night as you sit in one of the many beach chairs. This lake house provides flat, warm, lake water all day long... Perfect for those avid slalom skiers. There are several convenient places to launch your boat. Palmer lake covers 2100 acres, is about 5 miles long and 80 feet deep. It is surrounded by mountains, rolling hills, and orchards. Palmer lake is perfect for any and all water sports. We typically wake surf, water ski, tube, wake board, and when not on the boat we like to break out the Stand Up Paddle boards or the jet skis. Palmer is never crowded and on many days we have the lake to ourselves. We have owned this house for many years and have hesitated to rent it out as we didn't want to spoil the secret spot. Now as our children grow older, we are there less and less and would love to have other families have the fun weve had. Palmer lake also boasts great fishing for Small mouth Bass, Whitefish, Kokanee, Burbot, Black Crappie, and Yellow Perch. Palmer actually holds the Burbot state record that was around 17 lbs. Located 20 minutes from the Nighthawk border crossing and 45 minutes from the Osoyoos border crossing, this house is an ideal place to take advantage of the beauty of the Okanagan!

Upstairs, overlooking the living room, is a loft with a sectional sofa and TV for watching television or movies. The loft separates two upper bedroom wings. One wing contains a bathroom with tub/shower and bedroom large enough to contain both a queen sized bed and twin/trundle. Bedrooms 3 & 4 are on the opposite side of the loft and they share a third bathroom with tub/shower. The larger bedroom also contains both a queen sized bed plus a twin/trundle; the smaller offers a queen size bed. Please note that when more than 10 guests are accepted, an additional fee of $50 per guest per night will apply. We’re sorry that the fireplace is not available for guest use. A small, well-behaved dog will be considered, subject to additional fees and the owner’s specific approval.
