The villa is set in 4.5 acres of wooded and landscaped grounds on the side of a hill protected from the mistral outside Rognes with fantastic views overlooking forest of oak and pine, vine fields et countryside. Very peaceful and neighbours at a good distance ! Our home is spacious and sunny with 5 bedrooms built on three levels. It can be split into two different entities making it ideal for a group of friends, two families holidaying together or a family travelling with older children or parents, each having their own space and facilities if required. Ideally it can sleep 10 to 12 people 5 rooms, 2 kitchens 2 bathrooms with showers and WC, 1 shower room, 2 separate WCs. 2 large lounges, internet, piano, garage, pool, home cinema screen 3m wide (dvd, blueray), bicycles, laundry room (large capacity washing machine 9kg, spin-dryer, iron and board). Outside dining areas with BBQ, tables, an enormous terrace. Lovely views. The sunsets are incredible. All the necessary amenities (2 butchers, 3 bakeries, 1 small supermarket, post office, green grocers, health-food shop, weekly markets, restaurants, bar, tourism office, library, flower shop, bank, newsagents, doctors, dentist, pharmacy, … ). There are larger shops and hypermarkets in nearby Lambesc, Aix, Salon, Cabriès, Marseille, … To get to us, there are numerous convenient airports covered by most major airlines (Air France, British Aiways, Easyjet, Ryanair, etc) - Marseille (45 mins) Nimes and Avignon (both 60 mins), Toulon (90 mins) and Nice (1hr55). Train stations Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Salon, Marseille, Cavaillon. Distances : We are: 5 mins to the Luberon, 10 mins to Lambesc, Roque d\'Antheron 15 mins to Lourmarin, 20 mins to Aix-en-Provence, and Salon 45 mins to Marseille and Marseille International Airport, 1hr to beaches, Cassis, les Calanques, towns of Nimes and Avignon 1hr30 to Arles and Montpellier 2hrs30 nearest mountain resorts. If you can drag yourself away from the pool, there are so many things to do and see around us : Museums, theme parks, treetop and zip-lining adventure parks, summer festivals, zoo, tennis, golf, hiking, wine tasting, shopping, there is something to suit all ages and interests.
