This fully equipped chalet-style cottage is completely finished in pine for that rustic feeling. Very quiet and private with no sight lines to the neighbors. Relax on the hammock while watching the ferry meander on its way to PEI, or take a stroll to the sandy beach at Waterside Provincial Park. A short distance to all the amenities, including shopping, restaurants and pubs, and golf. A ten minute drive to the ferry terminal for day trips to PEI. |

Location
The kitchen is very well outfitted with all the utensils/pots and pans a cook may need. Also included is salt, pepper, sugar, tea bags, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, paper towels, wine glasses, coffee filters and a coffee grinder (for auto-timer coffee maker with insulated carafe), cork screw, tea pot, kettle, garlic press, place mats, baking sheets and pans, roasting pan, pizza pan, dish washing liquid, garbage bags, dish cloths and towels. The adjacent dining table can accommodate six adults and there are two bar stools at the kitchen island.
Master Bedroom
1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). The cozy master bedroom is finished in pine and has plenty storage with a full dresser, night tables, and large closet. Two windows provide for excellent cross ventilation when sleeping.
Bedroom
1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2) and 2 Single Beds (sleeps 2). The loft bedroom on the second floor is finished in pine and has a vaulted ceiling and skylight. A large dresser and night tables provide plenty of storage space for clothes. French doors lead onto a balcony with a picturesque view of Pictou Harbour. Fraser Mountain can be seen in the distance.
Bathroom 1 has toilet, bathtub, shower and one basin.
View
Located on picturesque Caribou Island (accessible by automobile) the chalet-style cottage has a water view on both sides. Sit at the kitchen dining table and enjoy a spectacular 180 degree ocean view looking out at PEI in the distance, or enjoy the same view while relaxing in the living room. A set of garden doors opens to a sixty foot long L-shaped front and side deck to provide the ocean view on the North side and a view of Pictou Harbour from the South side. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets can be had from the front deck. The upstairs bedroom offers a set of garden doors leading to a balcony that affords a birds eye view of Pictou Harbour.
More Information
Fresh strawberries/raspberries available at the farm across the road in season, and fresh asparagus when in season is a short walk up the road. Fresh lobster is in season May 1 to June 30.

Payment Details
25% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 60 days in advance). There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel less than 60 days prior, there is no refund.
