Bask in the sun on the large decks, refresh in the shade, cool in the pool and ocean, stroll the beach, surf, kite surf, hike, jog on the beach, shop in open air markets, buy fresh tuna on the dock. At night enjoy the ambience of the pool lights and the large brick barbecue. Entertain at the large dining room table and and the long hardwood bar. Shorts and a T-shirt day and night. Or dress up a little and go to town for casual dining and small town night life. Relaxed and casual is the fashion. Forget your rain gear. This area has an average of only 6 days of rain each year and 300 days of sunshine. The weather in this area of Northern Peru is dry and tropical. In summer (from December to April) daytime temperatures can reach over 30°C. During autumn (April and May) and spring (October and November) it is a pleasant 24°C to 30°C. In winter (June to September) the days are also sunny and warm (24 - 28°) and nights are fresh (17 -20°) so you might need a light jacket in the evening.
There is a limited amount of English spoken in this area of Peru. A basic knowledge of Spanish would be an asset. Feel free to speak to the owners for more information.
