Bed Summary

Master Bedroom

1 King Bed (sleeps 2). The master bedroom or "Beach House Room", features a spectacular second story view of the ocean across the Gulf of Georgia, over Lasquiti Island and Texada Island, towards the coastal mountain range of the mainland. There is a balcony and a walk in closet that leads to an adjoining bathroom.

Bedroom

1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). The "Lighthouse Room" is a second story bedroom overlooking the private and spacious enclosed garden and yard. Surrounded by a cedar hedge, the garden and yard features many flowering trees and plants, formerly featured on Vancouver Island's Rhododendron Tour.

Bedroom

1 King Bed (sleeps 2). The third bedroom "the Boathouse Room", overlooks the ocean at ground level and is immediately adjacent to the main floor bathroom and office area. A crib is available in the office as well as Internet access. A walkout patio door leads you directly to the beach and hot tub.

Family Room

1 Double Hide-A-Bed/Sofa Bed (sleeps 2). For those wishing to accommodate 8 adults, the family room contains a hide-a-bed with a sweeping view of the ocean as well. All linens are stored in living room closets.

Bathrooms

Bathroom 1 has toilet, bathtub, shower, hair dryer and one basin.
Bathroom 2 has toilet, bathtub, shower and two basins.

Spectacular views of Georgia Strait, Lasquiti Island, Texada Island and the Coast Mountain range of British Columbia. Unsurpassed ocean views from the main floor bedroom ( "Boat House Room" ), kitchen, family room, living room, master bedroom ( "Beach House Room" ), hot tub, and Oceanside deck and yard.

Qualicum Beach Municipal Airport is within a 10 minute(s) drive. Nearest full service airport is in Nanaimo, just a 40 minute drive away with regularly scheduled flights to Vancouver via Air Canada Jazz; as well as Comox with West Jet service. Qualicum Beach Municpal Airport caters mainly to local private aircraft, but does have one commercial service - KD Air that flies scheduled flights to Vancouver and a few local Vancouver Island destinations.
Transit: can be reached by walking for 10 minute(s). Type of transit is Bus. Limited local bus service is available at the corner of Johnstone Road and Hwy 19-A.
Golf: can be reached by driving for 5 minute(s). There are 6 golf course(s) nearby.
Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Mount Washington is Vancouver Island's premier ski resort and is an easy 45 minute drive from the property.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 250) are refunded if unit is re-rented.

Policies

No smoking is allowed.
Children are allowed. A Crib can be provided.
Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM.
A maximum of 1 Dog or Cat is allowed under 40lbs (14kg) in size but must be approved by the Owner. A deposit of 250.00 will apply.
There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
