Not only is Fairmont a family alpine ski area, it is also Canada's largest odourless natural hot springs, world famous for it's hot springs and hot pools.

Relax in the soothing warmth of the natural 40-43 degree hot springs. These therapeutic waters act as a welcoming oasis to winter skiers and snowboarders as well as the summertime hikers, golfers (9 courses within 30km), mountain bikers and horseback riders.

Located in the Windermere Valley, it is a four-seasons playground, situated where the Columbia River begins it's 1,100 mile journey.

The Wetland Habitat offers over 250 species for the birdwatcher.

Local activities include: heli-skiing, cross-country skiing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, arial sightseeing, horseback riding, white water rafting, hiking, glacier climbing and rock climbing, ice fishing, canoeing, kayaking and sailing.
