Standing high above the lush green valleys of Ribes and Nuria, El Torreón (The Tower) is a delightful, stone built house in the tiny village of Pardines with truly spectacular views across the Valleys and up to the towering peaks of the Pyrenees. Set at the end of a small, cobble-stoned street, this charming mountain house is built on 2 levels with bedrooms and bathrooms on the first floor and the open plan living room, dining room and kitchen set under the high, wooden beamed roof of the upper level. Here the eye is immediately drawn to the almost totally glass wall, built from the apex of the roof to the floor, leading onto the open air terrace with its panoramic views of the valley, hills and mountain peaks, an ideal spot for sunbathing and candlelit, al fresco meals. The tiny, stone built village of Pardines boasts 2 romantic churches, Sant Esteve and Santa Magdalena, both dating back to the 18th century. There is a wide range of shops in Ribes de Freser, which you pass through on your way up to the village. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
