From the beach, you are only a one minute walk to the main drag of town where you can grab everything from cold Cerveza to fresh fruit and vegetables, or enjoy any one of the great local restaurants.
Guayabitos has a local market once a week on Monday where you can find local pottery, baked goods, fresh breads and local crafts. If fresh seafood is what you crave, no need to bring your rod and reel as fisherman pull up daily with the catch of the day which usually consists of shrimp, flounder, red snapper, octopus and the occasional lobster.
The beach stretches about 5 KM wide where local reps can offer you anything from whale watching, to snorkling, bannana boat rides, zip-lining or jet ski rentals. A short 20 minute drive will bring you to the new Greg Norman Signature golf coarse "Litibu" offering exquisite views and many ocean greens. Guayabitos is truly a wonderful experience.
