30 minute drive to Surveyor's Lake (Kikumun Provincial Park) and Lake Koocanusa. Surveyor's Lake (Kikumun Provincial Park) has 2 beaches and wonderful clear, warm water in the summertime. It is located a 30 minute drive west of Fernie on Highway 3. Magnificent Island Lake Lodge is 10-15 km up a summer road. The area is rife with mountain-spring lakes and natural thermal hot springs. The unit is right by the Elk River, internationally famous for fly fishing and lazy days floating on an inner tube. Other swimming destinations include: Island Lake Lodge - a magnificent publicly-accessible lake on the grounds of this famed lodge. Views like no other. Maiden Lake - Small lake in town. Dozens of alpine lakes, rivers and Provincial/National parks in area.
Ski/Board Out is a 5 minute transit/shuttle ride to runs from the property.
Shuttle stops at site, and multi-day passes are available. Unit is located on free evening shuttle route between Fernie Alpine Resort and the Town of Fernie.

Payment Methods
PayPal, Money Order or Cashiers Cheque, Direct Bank Deposit, Email Money Transfer, Cash, Personal Cheque. (Available for guests booking 30 or more days prior to arrival)
Booking Deposit
The booking is confirmed with a deposit of 50 percent of the rent.
Payment Balance
Balance of payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.
For last minute bookings full payment is due at the time of booking.
Booking Cancellation Conditions
Cancellation 30 or more days prior to arrival, all payments (less a 100 CAD cancellation fee) are refunded.
Security or Damage Deposit
A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 CAD is due on arrival.

One-time fee of 100.00 CAD for stays of any number of nights or occupants.
Dirty dishes must be put in the dishwasher & turned on upon departure. All garbage must be thrown out in the green bin at the end of the parking lot upon departure.
