Master Bedroom
1 King Bed (sleeps 2). Generous size. Includes a study area with modem connection, TV / DVD player. The bed is a timber sleigh bed with tapestry pillows, cushions and duvet cover. A large robe and full chest of drawers provides plenty of storage.
Bedroom
1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2), 1 Single Lower Bunk Bed (sleeps 1) and 1 Single Upper Bunk Bed (sleeps 1). The second bedroom is very large and offers a sleigh bed and a timber bunk bed with TV/DVD/Video player. The room accommodates 4 people comfortably with plenty of storage in a large robe and full chest of drawers. A cot is available on request.
Bathroom 1 is an en suite and has toilet, shower, hair dryer and one basin.

The view from the living room is over the landscaped garden and circular pedestrian walkway into Silvertip Lodge. The view from the bedroooms is of a landscaped embankment onto the home run. There are spectacular views of the ski runs on Red Mountain from the hot tub.The private outdoor hot tub seats 6 people and has spectacular views up Red Mountain.

Castlegar Municipal Airport; daily flights by Air Canada Jazz from Vancouver & Calgary. 30 minutes to Red Mountain on main highways. Kelowna International Airport; daily flights by Air Canada & other local carriers from most major cities. 3.5 hrs to Red Mountain.
Ground Transfers: The Red Express is a 11-passenger airport transfer service from Spokane, Castlegar and Kelowna airports operating daily on a reservation basis only. Greyhound Bus Lines provides bus transportation between Spokane, Castlegar, Kelowna and Rossland.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). There are 6 courses to choose from within one hour's drive of Red Mountain. The closest are Rossland (3 kms) and Birchbank at Trail (12 kms). Castlegar, Christina Lake, Creston and Granite Pointe at Nelson are all par 72 championship courses within an hour of Red Mountain. • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). With an average of 7.5 meters of snow per year and 1,585 acres of ski-able terrain, Red Mountain offers fabulous down hill skiing and boarding on both groomed and off-piste graded slopes. The slope side location of this unit ensures easy access to all ski lifts on both Red Mountain and Granite Mountain. Boarders can also challenge themselves on the terrain park. Touring and cat skiing are available in the extensive back country area at Red. 1 km North of Red Mountain Black Jack Cross Country Trail offers skiers of all levels over 30 km of expertly groomed trails for both classic and skate skiing. 26 km North of Red Mountain, Paulson Cross Country Ski Trails, adjacent to Nancy Greene Provincial Park, offer trail systems graded from beginner to expert. Spectacular mountain views can be enjoyed from the snowshoe loop situated at Red. • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). Dining and limited shopping is available at Red Mountain. Nearby Rossland, described by National Geographic as one of the "Great Adventure Towns to live and Play in North America", is a quaint gold and silver mining town which is steeped in history and charm. It offers excellent dining, supermarkets, a liquor store, general shopping, a day spa, massage practitioners, medical facilities, a fitness centre and friendly service. • Christina Lake, the Columbia River and Kootenay Lake offer arguably the best fresh water fishing in North America. Christina Lake has been voted "Best Lake in British Columbia" by CBC phone poll and is only 45 minutes drive west of Red Mountain. The Columbia River is 10 minutes drive from Red Mountain and boasts the finest rainbow trout river fishing available. Kootenay Lake is one hour's drive away. It is famous for its Gerrard Rainbows, the largest species of rainbow trout in the world and an abundance of Kokanee salmon.
Payment Details
50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 45 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 is required. If you cancel 60 or more days prior, payments are refunded.

Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque Account payment by cheque details will be provided to guests on confirmation of booking. *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.

• Children are allowed. • Check in after 12:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM. • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals). • Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. • No Maid Service is provided during a stay. • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. |
