The Royal Mauian is built on a lava flow at the oceans edge. The lava extends several hundred feet into the Pacific providing ideal habitat for tropical fish and turtles. Snorkeling here is excellent. On each side of the point are two excellent white sand beaches-great for swimming, boogie boarding and relaxing in the sun. Our remodeled suite is well located in the building being secure on the fourth floor. We are far enough south so we get no road noise yet far enough north that only a little direct sun reaches us in the late afternoon so the suite stays a comfortable temperature. Enjoy sitting on our Lanai with your morning coffee watching sea turtles come up for air at the shoreline. From December to April Humpback whales are plentiful. One of the great treasures of the Royal Mauian is the landscaped Roof Garden. Here you can enjoy 360 degree views of dormant Haleakala Volcano, three nearby islands, the West Maui mountains and unforgettable sunsets. A kitchen, Bar-B-Ques and patio seating are an idyllic setting for your favorite dinners. Bring your food and wine to what we call the best restaurant on the island. There is shopping and fine restaurants within easy walking distance just across the street. Just a five minute drive to the south is Wailea with its championship golfing, hotels, shopping and restaurants. Maui, Kihei and The Royal Mauian are the best. Maui, NO-KA-OI.
