Near the charming village of Aulnay and five minutes drive from the old town of St. Jean d'Angély stands this old restored stone house with a private swimming pool. It has a light interior with stone walls, cool in hot summers, a comfortable living room with the original fireplace dated 1842 and French windows opening on to a terrace. There is also a large garden ideal for children to play in and a covered barn. There is plenty to do in the Charente-Maritime, and it is less than a 45 minute drive to beaches, Fouras, the quaint harbours of La Rochelle, Rochefort and Royan, and the ferry to the Ile d'Aix. St. Jean d'Angély is home to the 'Atlantis' aqua centre that children will adore as well as canoeing, kayaking and water polo. Covered parking. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
