    The house was oriented and built for optimum views. Being on the tip of the point allows for more than 180 degree views of the surrounding water ways. And since the house faces due west, stunning sunsets over Vancouver Island can be viewed year round.

    • Victoria International Airport is within a 60 minute(s) drive. If you fly into Victoria International airport (YYJ) drive 5 mins to the Swartz Bay ferry terminal and catch the ferry to Fulford Harbor on Salt Spring Island (a 35 min ferry ride). Then drive 25 mins to our vacation homeOwner will give detailed directions.
    • Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). There are 2 golf course(s) nearby.
    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). There are many fine and fun shops and restaurants in the town of Ganges which is about a 45 minute drive from the house. On Saturdays in Ganges there is an outside Farmer's Market where many fine artisans display their talents.
    • The unit is Ocean front. Beach surface is rocky. There is a dock. The dock is public. There is room for 4 boats. There is a public dock available on a 1st come, 1st served basis. This dock is about a 10 min walk from the house. There is also a private dock that is not available to renters unless arrangements are made by owner.
    • Nearby Attractions: A kayaking wonderland is right in front of the house. There are many great hiking trails near by. There is a shared tennis court. There are 4 tennis rackets in the laundry room (BYOB: bring your own balls if you want to play tennis).
    Payments and Policies
    Payment Details
    50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 is required. If you cancel less than 45 days prior, payments (less 50) are refunded if re-rented.
    Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque
    *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed.
    • Check in after 1:00 PM and check out before 12:00 PM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
    • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
    • There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
    • An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of by arrangement.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
