With its sunny exposure, warm swimming beach and spectacular sunsets Vesuvius has long been a preferred area to vacation on Salt Spring. Salt Spring, the largest of the islands, with a land area of 185 sq km., has a richly varied & beautiful landscape. Its hills, valleys & bays are full of interesting places & experiences. Weavers, woodworkers, painters, glassblowers, potters & many other creative folk make Salt Spring a feast for lovers of the arts & crafts.

Allow 4 hours or more by Ferry from Long Harbour to Vancouver (Tsawwassen) Harbour to Vancouver International Airport. Sea Plane service from Salt Spring Island available to Vancouver Airport. Reasonable rates and a short flight of less than 30 minutes.
    • Golf: can be reached by driving for 20 minute(s). Short drive of less than 15 minutes to the nearest golf course.
    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). Walking distance to a very good restaurant and a few shops. A 7 minute drive to the island's principal center, Ganges. Ganges has a wide variety of restaurants and shopping.
    • Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. Beach surface is sand and rocks. Tremendous ocean views and a short walk to the public beach.

    Payment Details
    All of the rent is required (30 or more days in advance) to complete the booking. A credit card is required for a security/damage deposit.
    Owner accepts payments by: Visa - Master Card - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit - Western Union
    *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed.
    • Check in after 4:00PM and check out before 10:00AM.
    • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
    • Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 9:00PM and 9:00AM.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. Housekeeping is provided every 7 days during a stay.
