There is such a gorgeous view from up here on the balcony; the lovely greens of the La Costa Country Club golf course, and the ocean beyond. When the weather was right, I saw the most amazing sunsets.

I didn't do as many 'touristy' trips away from here as I thought I would, because I was enjoying the backyard so much; it has a pool, a hot tub, and a firepit---which I enjoyed every evening. Lazy me---I decided on 'R and R in the backyard' for this trip, even though I was within a short 15 minute drive of Sea World and the San Diego Zoo.

Ah well; I'll have to come back again and visit my performing 'next of kin' another time!
