Wonderful estate stretching over an unspoiled land amidst thousands of acres of wild and sparsely populated countryside, close to the small town of Sarteano, in the southernmost part of Siena. All of the farmhouses being part of this estate as well as the beautiful Benedictine Abbey of Spineto dating back to the 11th century have been recently and skilfully restored preserving all their original architectural features and their ancient charm. The abbey, once dominating the whole surrounding area, has been converted for meetings, incentives and any kind of special events, while the farmhouses have been turned into beautiful and elegant villas, all of which offering a private swimming-pool, all kinds of modern comforts and tastefully furnished interiors that allow their guests to enjoy a very surprising combination of old charm and contemporary design. Each villa is provided with: furnished garden, private swimming-pool (12 x 6 m - maximum depth 1,20 m open from 14/05 to 01/10), mobile telephone or telephone in each bedroom and hairdryer in each bathroom. The rental price includes: 2 hours domestic help daily, linen change twice a week (Wednesday and Saturday) and waste removing. By arrangement clients can enjoy use of following services: internet access (at the reception), videotape, sauna, fitness centre, baby-sitting service, cook service, breakfast service, transfers with 8- or 15-seat minibuses (this transfer is free of charge from and to Florence, Rome and Perugia airports during the months of January, February, March, April, August, November and December). All of these services are to be booked in advance and to be paid locally. Guests can also hire a car at the reception of Monastero and have their car delivered to their villa. The estate offers an ideal terrain for trekking, birdwatching and beautiful walks along well-laid paths where it is possible to find wild animals. Central heating. DISTANCES: Sarteano with all kinds of shops 6 km, San Casciano dei Bagni with nice spas centre 10 km, the charming Etruscan town of Chiusi 20 km, Cetona approx. 15 km, Montepulciano 30 km, Pienza approx. 50 km, Perugia 70 km. Siena is reachable in a one-hour-and-half drive. A golf course is an a 30-minute drive.
ACCOMMODATION: (460 m2) Wonderful stone farmhouse skilfully restored preserving its original architectural features and its ancient charm offering extensive views over a woody valley at the feet of Mount Cetona and its surroundings.

The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
