Splendid Renaissance villa built as a summer-house by a noble Florentine family. The property is beautifully situated, amidst green hills, olive-groves and vineyards producing the famous Chianti Classico wine. The stone buildings close to the villa have been recently restored preserving their original architectural features typical of the region and turned into 6 comfortable apartments, all of which providing tastefully furnished interiors. At guests' disposal: equipped garden, shared swimming-pool (12 x 6 m) set in panoramic location, barbecue and table-tennis. Mountain bikes for rent. The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road. On request maid service (Euro 11 / per hour to be paid on the spot) and baby-sitting (payment on the spot). Washing-machine and iron to be shared among the 5 apartments. The produce of the estate is available to be purchased. By arrangement it is possible to organise guided tours in the most beautiful areas of Tuscany in order to get to know its works of art, its excellent wines as well as local handicraft. Parking. ACCOMMODATION: (125 m2) 1st fl.: kitchen (oven, freezer, dishwasher), large living-room (sat. TV), twin-bedded room, bathroom with shower. 2nd fl.: 1 twin-bedded room with ensuite bathroom with shower, living-room with double sofa-bed, 1 twin-bedded room, 1 bathroom with shower. 3rd fl. (in the ancient tower): 1 twin-bedded room.
LOCATION: Mercatale Val di Pesa with all kinds of shops 3 km, San Casciano 6 km, Florence 20 km, Siena 50 km.
The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
