On three sides of the house you have wonderful views of the Val di Lima and of the Mountain of the pre-appennino, especially of the mount Prato Fiorito. In front of the house there are other typical mountain houses - in the heart of the green Garfagnana.

The house has been owned by one family for a long time and was built in 1563. The aim of the recent restoration has been to recover the ancient characteristic of a Tuscan mountain home, while maintaining comfort.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). In less than an hour you can get to Abetone in the Appennino, or to the Apuan Alps. These are ski areas where our Italian ski champions (like Alberto Tomba) practice.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). San Cassiano is a little mountain village that has two food shops, two bars and a restaurant-pizzeria.
Otherwise, one can go to Bagni di Lucca, the very famous town where everything can be found.
• It takes approx. 1 hour and a half to get to the beach of Viareggio (Versilia). Otherwise just 15 minutes to reach the river Lima, that is by Bagni di Lucca.
The booking is confirmed with a credit card and payment made on arrival. There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel anytime, payments are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
