Ancient 17th century mill situated in the heart of the Chianti, between Florence and Siena, built near a small stream (the Argenna). The structure, which was restored with great care over a period of four years, has been transformed by the present owners into an extremely charming and comfortable environment.
The environment is also particularly cosy and romantic thanks to the preservation of the mill's ancient architectural elements, such as the old stone washbasins, the original terracotta floors and the hundred-year-old wood ceiling beams.
The interior furnishings are made up of period pieces and are combined with well-matched and original decorative solutions that give the entire structure a strong personality.
The house's position is peaceful and relaxing thanks to the absence of any other nearby houses and is protected by typical vegetation that has remained intact.
Approximately 150 m away, in a secluded position and not visible from the mill, there is a very small house along the stream that is reserved and inhabited by the owners. It is possible to have breakfast (6 Euro/person). DISTANCES: 3 km S. Donato in Poggio (all kinds of shops), 10 km Castellina in Chianti, 35 km Florence, 50 km Siena. 10 km horse riding school.

Mezzanine ground floor
2 adjoining dining rooms one of which has a fireplace, kitchen (two ovens, freezer, dishwasher) with small dining room with a six-person table and panoramic window facing the swimming pool area, WC (with washbasin).
With autonomous and outdoor accesses only, you enter 5 double bedrooms, all with bathroom with shower and two of which have an equipped terrace.
First floor
From the main dining room situated on the mezzanine ground floor, by means of a staircase, you enter the master bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with private shower.

The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
