Special Conditions

This is a beautiful, unique cottage location that is however somewhat remote. Power is supplied via a deep cell battery and inverter system which is charged back up daily or twice daily via a state of the art Honda generator located at the rear tool shed. Easy to do using simple instructions by owner.
Water system works very well also and is easy to run.

Fantastic ocean and beach views, and of Vancouver Island with snow covered peaks in the distance. Lots of marine life, deer, bald eagles, herons, seals and the occasional whale. Looking across Strait of Georgia.

• Airport in Powell River. Easily fly via Pacific Coastal Air.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Golf course in Powell River nearby
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 30 minute(s). Only a couple of dining places on the island, and a grocery store.
• Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. Beach surface is sand and rocks. Oceanfront. Fun beach and lots of other beaches along whole island shoreline. The locals claim it has one of the best sandy beaches on whole West Coast and warmest ocean water north of Mexico. Lots of marine life too.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 45 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 400 is required. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival, there is no refund unless re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque (Available for guests booking 30 or more days prior to arrival) - Visa - Master Card - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Cash - Email Money Transfer

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
