• Beach surface is sand and rocks. Located right on a hill overlooking Oakcreek which is one of the most picturesque areas in the U.S. There is wildlife such as blue herons, eagles, deer, elk, javelina, and coyotes. Also there is fishing on Oakcreek. A Little Slice Of Heaven Guest cottage borders along Oak Creek. There is a hiking trail in back of the property that leads to the creek. This area is only good for wading in and cooling oneself off in the hot days of summer since the water is cold. There is a sandy and rocky beach area where one can sit and read and enjoy the cascading water. Also there are flatter rocks up above which is great for just sitting, reading or sun bathing. This is a great fishing spot where trout are stocked regularly 3 times in the spring and summer.
