Shawnigan lake is a 5 minute walk from the property crossing a road. There is no beach. There is no dock, moorage or float anchor.
Ski/Board Out is directly to a downhill run from the property.
Mount Washington is the best ski hill on the Island and it is an approx. 2.5 hours drive.

The Victoria International Airport airport is about a 60 minute drive/taxi from the property.

There are 3 courses within a walking or driving distance. Arubutus Ridge, Duncan Meadows and Bear Mountain Golf Courses.
Shopping and Dining
The shops and restaurants are about a 5 minute drive/taxi from the property. Shawnigan Lake Village is only a few minutes by car, The Galley Restaurant (licensed) and Marina is a short walk away.
Transit
The train is about a 2 minute walk from the property. Via Rail (the historical E & N Railway) - Strathcona Lodge stop is just behind the cottage at the Bahai School. Reservations are necessary please phone Via Rail to reserve.

The booking is confirmed with a deposit of 50 percent of the rent.
Payment Balance
Balance of payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.
Booking Cancellation Conditions
Cancellation 60 or more days prior to arrival, all payments (less a 100.00 CAD cancellation fee) are refunded.
Security or Damage Deposit
A refundable security/damage deposit of 650.00 CAD is due 30 days prior to arrival.
