    • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Downhill skiers will find the nearest slopes at Revelstoke Mountain Resort on Mount Mackenzie in the Selkirk mountains 6 km (3.5 miles) Southeast of downtown Revelstoke, Silver Star Mountain Resort, northeast of Vernon, Apex Mountain Resort west of Penticton, Big White Ski Resort 54 km southeast of Kelowna, and Sun Peaks Ski Resort at Tod Mountain, north of Kamloops. The Shuswap area also offers cross-country skiing for the winter visitor. Larch Hills Cross-Country Area, near Salmon Arm, has an impressive 87 miles (140 km) of cross-country trails, about 25 miles (40 km) of which are groomed. To reach the trailhead, drive 11 miles (17 km) south of Salmon Arm on Hwy 97B, turn left on Grandview Bench Road and go 3 miles (5 km), and turn left on Edgar Road and drive 1 mile (2 km) farther. The Larch Hills Ski Club maintains a chalet, which is open to all, the site of the annual 'loppet,' or cross-country ski race.

    Payment Details
    1-3 nights rent to complete the booking (balance on arrival - credit card or traveler check). A refundable security/damage deposit of 1,000 is required. If you cancel 15 or more days prior, payments are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
    Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque (Available for guests booking 15 or more days prior to arrival) - Visa - Master Card - PayPal - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Cash - Email Money Transfer

    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed. A Crib can be provided.
    • Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 12:00 PM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
    • A maximum of 1 Dog is allowed but must be approved by the Owner. A deposit of $2000 will apply. A fee of $100/night will apply.
    • There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
    • No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
