Special Conditions

Hot tub for the complex only operates during ski season.

In the summer months the rental fee does not include cleaning. I will provide clean linens and wash them after you depart, however the expectation is that you will leave the unit 'as you found it'.

If you do not want to clean up after yourself a cleaning fee can be negotiated.

Living Room

1 Queen Hide-A-Bed/Sofa bed. Bedding in blanket box that doubles as a coffee table. Folds out easily without moving lots of furniture.

Bedroom

1 Double Bed (Lower Level of Bunk) and 1 Double Bed (Upper Level of Bunk). Shelf and clip lamp for the top bunk. Bedside table for the bottom. Chest of drawers for storage and convenient hooks.

Bedroom

1 Queen Bed. Master bedroom with full en-suite. Sliding doors open onto living area. TV with DVD and VCR in this room.

Bathrooms

Bathroom 1 has toilet, bathtub, shower and one basin.
Bathroom 2 has toilet, shower and one basin.

Very secluded. Out the front window you see snow covered trees. Peaceful and quiet yet only a few minutes to the chairlift.

Distances

• Kelowna International Airport is within a 60 minute(s) drive.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). There are 4 golf course(s) nearby. World class Predator Ridge Golf resort is about a 40 minute drive from SilverStar. The new Rise Golf Course designed by Fred Couples opened in 2008, it would also be a 40 minute drive from Silverstar. Other courses of interest would be the Vernon Golf & Country Club and the Salmon Arm Golf Club.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by walking for 1 minute(s). The Silver Queen chair is directly below the unit. Put on your skiis and glide down to the line. On the return, you can ski to the door on Criss Cross.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). The walk to the main village is about ten minutes. Tube Town, skating pond and skiing are much closer. There is a snack bar at Tube Town. There are a number of nice restaurants in the main village.
• Lake is located within a 30 minute(s) drive. Beach surface is coarse sand. Vernon is very fortunate in its lakes. Okanagan Lake is on the western edge of the town and Kalamalka Lake is just South of town. Both lakes have nice swimming beaches. In summer Silver Star is a great place to stay. Drive 25 minutes down the hill to enjoy the beaches at Kalamalka Lake or Okanagan Lake. At the end of the HOT day, drive back up to the mountain for a cool evening and a good sleep.
• Nearby Attractions: Beautiful Okanagan lakes nearby. Okanagen and Kalamalka lakes are within a half hour drive. Vernon has many tourist attractions.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

20% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A credit card is required for a security/damage deposit. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 50) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM.
• All pets are allowed but must be approved by the Owner. A deposit of $50 will apply.
• Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
