Locked Storage Provided. A large, secure storage area is provided for all of your skiing and snowboarding equipment. WHEN YOU FIRST ARRIVE, simply pack all of your skis, boards, and boots directly to the Locker and store them here during your vacation (skis & boards on the wall rack and put your boots in the 'heated boot change room'). The portable heater has a thermostat so you can leave it turned on until you depart. Wear your normal footwear (or slippers) to & from the chalet during your stay. (No ski boots or equipment inside the chalet please.)

Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Vernon is home to some the finest golf in the Okanagan Valley. 'Spring skiers' can enjoy a round of golf on the same day they ski. Vernon Golf & Country Club and Spallumcheen Golf and Country Club (Championship 18 and 27 hole courses) are always open well before the end of the ski season (Predator Ridge G&CC a few weeks later). There are also some challenging executive 9 and 18 hole courses operational during spring skiing.
Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). Location on a ski hill is everything! Ski 'right out' and 'right in' from the Silver Queen Ski-Way to the door of your private equipment locker.
Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). Silver Star Village is fully serviced with many eating establishments, licensed premises, grocery, video, liquor store, and numerous ski and souvenier shops. The walk to the Village is just a couple of minutes from your door while 'Tube Town' and 'Brewers Skating Pond' are within a 10 minute walk. (Skate rentals are available at Brewers Pond.) Most guests never leave the village during their ski holiday but the full service Save On Foods store is a very well stocked, popular grocery store (take our 'Club Card' from the chalet) located at the base of the hill (20 minute drive) as is all of the excellent shopping of the City of Vernon.
The very beautiful destination lakes of "Okanagan", "Kalmalka", and "Swan" are all within an easy 40 minute drive. Summer rentals are usually weekly.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 45 days in advance). A credit card is required for a security/damage deposit. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 100) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Visa - PayPal - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit - Email Money Transfer
A Visa credit card authorization will be taken via phone for the security/damage deposit [applied against any damage incurred]. If reservation is within 45 days, full payment is required within 40 hours of booking. Pets may be allowed: If approved, a 'pet surcharge' of $10 per night (to $50 maximum per pet) is applicable.

Check in after 4:00PM and check out before 10:00AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
Dogs and Cats are allowed but must be approved by the Owner. A deposit/fee of 100.00/pet will apply.
There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. Housekeeping is provided every 7 days during a stay.
