Well equipped kitchen. Appliances are all new. All the basics including, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugars, spices, etc. Unless requested to be removed some condiments as ketchup, mustard, etc may be left in the fridge.
Master Bedroom
1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2) and 2 Single Beds (sleeps 2). The main bedroom features a queen bed, 2 single built in bunks, two night tables, a large closet, alarm clock, reading lights and extra bedding and pillows for the futon in the living room. All mattresses are new (2007) and sure to please. Down duvets and quality bedding will ensure a great night's sleep.
Living Room
1 Double Hide-A-Bed/Sofa Bed (sleeps 2). The living room is spacious and features a love seat as well as a double bed / futon.
Bathroom 1 has toilet, shower, hair dryer and one basin.

A very bright basement suite. Lots of sun. 3 big front (south) facing windows in the kitchen, eating, and living area with views over Silver Star Road of the Silver Queen Chair, Brewers Pond and the Tube Town area. Kitchen / dining / living / all front facing to enjoy the view.

A terrific basement suite in a terrific location. This suite is sure to please. Very bright, lots of windows, very clean, and very well equipped. Totally renovated in Jan 2004, it features all new flooring, heated tile floors, large private deck, new pillow top beds, and much more. One of the few properties where ski-in and ski-out is truly effortless. Perfect for a couple or small family with emphasis on comfort, value and location.

#95318 - The 3 bedroom 1200 sq ft bungalow comprises the upper 2 floors of this 3 storey home. Perfect for groups wanting to vacation close together but with their "own space" and fully self contained suite. Although 95320 and 95318 are in the same building no interior access is provided.

• Kelowna International Airport is approximately 45 minutes to one hour.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Vernon is home to some of the finest Golf in the Okanagan Valley. Spring skiers can enjoy a round of golf and ski on the the same day, no problems. Predator Ridge does not usually open until Silver Star has closed for the season but Vernon Golf & Country and Spallumcheen Golf & Country (Championship 18 and 27 hole courses) are always open well before the end of the ski season. There are also 3 or 4 executive 9 and 18 hole courses operational during spring skiing. • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). Location, Location, Location. Distance to the ski slopes is measured in feet not yards or meters. Access is truly an effortless ski-in and ski-out. Ski in access is off Mid-T Lift, Christmas Bowl, Attridge Runs, and Back Bowl Runs. Ski out access is over bridge to Silver Queen Quad or approximately 80 meters the other direction to the Mid T. Skiers familiar with Silver Star will remember this home as the "home located right beside the skier overpass". • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). Silver Star Village is fairly well contained with many eating establishments, licenced premises, grocery/video/liquor store, and numerous ski and souvenir shops. The walk to the Village is 5 to 10 minutes and also a 5 to 10 minute walk to Tube-Town and Brewers Skating Pond. Skate rentals are available at Brewers Pond. Most guests never leave the village during their ski holiday but Butcher Boys food store is a very well stocked favorite grocery store approximately 15-20 minutes down the hill, and all the shops of Vernon are within 25 minutes. • Okanagan, Kalamalka, and Swan lakes are all approximately 30-40 minutes away but summer rental is usually monthly.
Payment Details
50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit (equal to one night's rent) is required. If you cancel anytime, payments are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Policies
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque We prefer payment by 3 personal cheques or money orders sent at the time of confirmation of booking. The first for 50% of the outstanding balance, the 2nd cheque for the balance of the rent post dated for 30 days prior to your arrival, and a third cheque for the damage deposit of one night's rent (dated for your departure day) which will either be returned to you in person or mailed back to you upon your departure with no damage. *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed. • Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM. • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals). • There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours. • Maid Service is provided every 7 days during a stay. • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. |
