Welcome to our vacation rental.

Big White is awesome - Its big, you can find a walk on lift on the busiest of days, it seldom gets really cold, yet at over 1700 meters at the base, the snow seldom melts, leading to that famous Champagne Powder.

And our Chalet is a great way to experience Big White. Tucked away in the Snow Pines area, this Chalet has generous parking, a private entrance, and ski in/out to the real ski lifts, not the access gondola.

Inside you will find all the amenities and then some. Post and Beam construction is augmented by hand made doors and by extensive use of tongue and groove panelling on the floors, ceilings, and walls. A covered hot tub oversees the Monashees. On the main floor a tiled kitchen/dining room with breakfast bar and a table for 8 leads into a living area with gas fireplace, 18 foot cathedral ceilings and 8 foot windows. A master bedroom with LCD TV and a comfy King bed and cheater ensuite completes the picture. Upstairs features a full sauna, a full laundry, two bedrooms and a unique loft with entertainment center where "peekaboo" doors to the living area can be closed, creating a private second living area - perfect for kids and parents alike.

After the lifts close, the bars and restaurants are a 15 minute walk along a lighted path, or a free shuttle ride away. Weekends bring a kids Carnival and Fireworks Saturday night. But with a cozy place like the Chalet, staying home has its attractions as well.

This is our home away from home - not primarily an income property. You will find the ambience reflects that.
