Private Summer Retreat in the Shuswap
Maison D'Être is a simple, cozy and clean private cottage accommodation just steps away from Shuswap Lake. With plenty of space to relax and unwind, it is the ideal spot to get away for a weekend or a longer vacation with family, friends or just on your own. All linen/towels provided, just bring your food and a swimsuit.
Explore the beauty of the Shuswap and surrounding area with its great swimming, fishing, golfing, wine-tasting, hiking and biking... Everything your summer is asking for. Sorrento is a quiet holiday town with all your basics (groceries, gas station, restaurants, farmers market) just up the hill. The beach is 200m away and there is a public dock and boat launch 2 minutes down the road.
The cottage has 1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom, plus a double pull-out. Sleeps up to 5 people. There is a huge back lawn for tossing the football, doing yoga or relaxing in the sun. The back deck has a propane BBQ and there are fruit trees in the yard. Plenty of parking for a boat or RV. All this plus a great rate.
It's an easy drive from Kamloops Airport (~45min) or approximately 430km (~5hrs) from Vancouver and 550km (~7hrs) from Calgary.
