The house is located two kms south of the Shuswap Lake on 10 acres of property. The view from the house includes Copper Island and the Shuswap Lake.

The house has a self-contained suite (separate entrance/locked from main part of house) in the basement with one full time resident.

Distances

Golf: can be reached by driving for 20 minute(s). Drive to the nearest golf course is less than 10 minutes - The Shuswap Lake Golf and Country Club. The Salmon Arm Course, listed by Score Golf Magazine as one of Canada's top 20 courses (2004) is about 30 minutes away. There are several courses in Kamloops about 1 hour away.
Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 90 minute(s). The ski resorts of Sun Peaks (Kamloops) and Silver Star (Vernon) are each 1.5 hours away from the house.
Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 20 minute(s). There is grocery shopping about 2 kms away in Sorrento which also has a few local restaurants. There is more extensive shopping in Salmon Arm which is about 20 minutes away.
Enjoy the view of the Shuswap Lake from the deck surrounding the house. There are boat ramps and moorage facilities within 10 minutes drive. Easy access to the Scotch Creek Beach on the North Shore over the Squilax Bridge.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 7 days in advance). There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 100) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.

There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
