    • Golf: can be reached by driving for 20 minute(s). There are 3 golf course(s) nearby. Many golf courses are easily accessible to downtown Victoria, within 15-20 minute drive. The nearest is a public course within a 10 minute drive.
    • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 90 minute(s). Mount Washington is a 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive north, and offers excellent Alpine and Nordic skiing, as well as snow boarding and ice skating.
    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). The Queen Mother Waterside Cafe is located in the building, with an outdoor dining area near the unit. Their menu is 'global comfort food with west coast style'. The Cafe's exhibits, of works for sale by local artists, changes their exhibit pieces every seven weeks. Across from the complex is the Canoe Brewpub Marina and Restaurant. Endless choices in fine and casual dining are an easy walk from the condo, as are shopping opportunities, including art galleries, antiques, fashion, home decor, and aboriginal art. For a great and casual breakfast, visit Willie's Bakery, on Johnson St. just off Wharf (very close by). Behind Willies' is 'Il Terrazzo', for exceptional Italian food.
    • The unit is Ocean front. The condo is situated directly on the upper harbour. There are plenty of beaches all around the island, and they vary in specific characteristics. These waters are esteemed by divers for their clarity. The Mermaid Wharf Marina, steps from the condo, rents row boats, kayaks, and canoes. For those who have their own water craft, it is possible to rent space from the Marina. Island Rentals, a concession on the pier, can provide you with kayaks, canoes, bikes, and power boats, on an hourly or daily basis. Victoria Harbour Ferries operates a fleet of 11 mini passenger ferries which travel around Victoria's Harbour, picking up and depositing passengers at 12 stops around the Harbour and the Gorge Waterway. The main stop is the dock directly in front of the Empress Hotel.
    Payments and Policies
    Payment Details
    50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 45 days in advance). There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 100) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
    Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Visa - Master Card - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit - Cash - Western Union - Travelers Cheques
    *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed but this unit is not suitable for persons under the age of 6 and children under 10 years old stay free.
    • Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
    • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
    • Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
    • No Maid Service is provided during a stay. An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of 75.00.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
