You have phenomenal panoramic views of the Atlantic ocean from the 2nd floor balcony, but you also have ocean views from the living room and kitchen on the first floor. You only have to walk one lot down to reach the ocean access for snorkeling or kayaking.

Distances

• North Eleuthera Airport (ELH) is within a 10 minute(s) drive. To get to Spanish Wells/Russell Island requires about a ten minute ground taxi ride, and then a 5 minute ferry over to Spanish Wells. Then it is about a 5-10 minute golf cart or car ride to the home on Russell Island. There is a local taxi service that combines the ground taxi-ferry trip to and from the Airport. Inquire to the owner for details.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 10 minute(s). The home in Russell Island is located over the bridge of Spanish Wells (approx 1/2 mile). Spanish Wells is the main town and is only about 1 mile by 3 miles in size. This is where you can drive to the local restaurants, get your groceries, shopping, etc.
• Ocean is located less than 1 minute away. Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is rocky. The home has oceanfront access down the road. Unit ID 117859, (another vacation rental property of ours is Ocean front, and this cottage is on the lot behind Unit ID 117859. You just need to walk down the road one lot to reach the Atlantic ocean access. Beautiful turquoise water, and you can see cays in the distance. A little rocky there at the access point--recommend wearing water shoes. People snorkel and kayak here. We have two one-person kayaks available with this rental. Once in the water, you can see the Spanish Wells Beach in the distance, and when the tide is low you can walk in the water from the property around to the Spanish Wells Beach about a couple of blocks distance without getting your head wet.
• Nearby Attractions: Nearby Attractions: Snorkeling, Swimming, Diving, Kayaking, Boat Rentals and Fishing trips can be arranged on the island. Or, hop aboard the Bohengy boat and take a large ferry over for a day trip to tour Harbour Island.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 60 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 300 is required. If you cancel less than 60 days prior, there is no refund.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque (Available for guests booking 30 or more days prior to arrival) - PayPal - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque
If you cancel within 60 days of your scheduled stay, then there is a $300 penalty fee, unless we are able to re-rent the same time frame booked. ***Paypal can be accepted for last-minute reservations, using major credit cards if you have a paypal account. We do charge a 3% processing fee on entire amount payable (including security deposit fee) if Paypal is used. ***A signed rental contract is required along with the deposit to reserve the reservation. The owner can email, fax or mail you a copy of this contract to the prospect renter.

Policies

• Check in after 1:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of inquire for availability & fees.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
