This beautiful old villa is a family-owned private house, nestling in the hills between olive groves, oaks and fields of wheat, secluded yet close to the centre of Spoleto.
The position is ideal, being on the side of a green valley but also so close to Spoleto that a ten minutes walk can take you to the centre, with its shops, cafes & restaurants or to the train station.
The house is an elegant traditional Italian country house with its large rooms and high ceilings.
On the main floor there are three bedrooms, two of them with a mezzanine, a sitting room with a fireplace and a piano, and a large bathroom with a bathtub.
On the lower level a large kitchen-dining room leads out onto a sunny terrace with a gazebo for shade during those long, lazy Italian lunches.
Off the kitchen is a downstairs cloakroom & washing machine.
On the attic level there is another bedroom with its own bathroom with shower.
There is a large garden with panoramic views over the valley, with a swing, a pergola and benches, a lovely place to relax & watch the lights twinkle across the valley in the balmy summer nights.
