Fieldstone fireplace with soapstone wood stove, competition pool table, stereo system, and a DSS satellite T.V. system. The classic jarrah barrel style hot tub is fully winterized. The living room has the fireplace/woodstove, stereo system, antique parlor stove, and friendly moose head. Linens, towels, blankets, and BBQ are supplied. The unit is privately located on ten acres. Guests are welcomed upon arrival, shown around the house, and offered assistance in planning their vacation.

• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). The unit is surrounded by hundreds of acres of excellent cross-country skiing and snowmobile terrain. Stowe, renowned as the ski capital of the east, is only a short drive away. The V.A.S.T. snowmobile network is easily accessed from the house.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). The log home is located on 10 acres in the Town of Wolcott, Vermont, approximately 2 miles from Lake Elmore and 16 miles from Stowe. The location is secluded with excellent views.
• Nearby attractions include Moss Glenn Falls, Crystal Brook and Zack Woods Pond. Local lakes include Elmore, Caspian and Lake Willoughby. A canoe is included with the rental. Mountain climbing is available at the Long Trail in the Green Mountains, 15 miles away, or Mt. Elmore, 3 miles from the house. Other activities include white water and flat water canoeing.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

The rent, required to complete the booking, is 50% (balance due 15 days in advance). A security deposit of $100 is required. If you cancel more than 55 days prior to arrival, you forfeit deposit and within 55 days no refund.

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• No children are allowed.
• Check in after 5:00 PM and check out before 12:00 PM.
• Dogs and Cats are allowed but must be approved by the Owner.
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
