Step right off the porch into the 'Sunrise' apple block, or walk through untouched ravines and ponderosa pine lined gullies all overlooking the spectacular Okanagan Lake and vineyards of Naramata. Nature lovers will enjoy the mule deer, coyotes, marmots, and many other animals on the property. The cottage is centrally located, right on Summerland’s 'Walking Trail', and walking distance to wineries, town, and beaches. Enjoy eating seasonal fruit you can pick from the tree! |

Location
Charming, fresh white kitchen with gas oven and range. Fully equipped for cooking or entertaining. Barbeque is just off the deck, steps away from the kitchen. Several summer dining options available, eat in the kitchen, on the shaded porch, or the patio overlooking the lake. Cottage patio is directly south of the cottage and is furnished with a table and chairs for four.
Bedroom
1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). Facing east, the bedroom affords a spectacular lakeview beyond the 'Sunrise' apple block. This bedroom has ample storage with wall to wall closet space. The Hide-A-Bed in the living area pulls out to provide additional sleeping.

1 Queen Hide-A-Bed/Sofa Bed (sleeps 2).
Bathroom 1 has toilet, bathtub, shower, hair dryer and one basin.
View
The cottage is located on a bench of agricultural land directly above Okanagan Lake. It faces east toward the lake, with views of apple and cherry orchard, the lake just beyond, and shoreline of Naramata in the distance. Toward the south is a natural ravine with lake beyond, gazing north orchards, lake, and the southern border of Okanagan Mountain Park which extends to Kelowna.
More Information
You will find a complimentary bottle of local wine on arrival, and fresh local produce from the orchard (in season). Possible transfer from the Penticton and Kelowna Airport may be available if scheduling allows. Call the owner to arrange. Owners are members of the local fruit growers cooperative and guest may purchase seasonal fruit, vegetables, at the town packing house.

• Penticton Airport is within a 20 minute(s) drive. The cottage is located between Penticton (20 minutes south) and Kelowna (one hour north). Kelowna is an international airport with regular shuttles available.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 5 minute(s). There are more than 10 golf course(s) nearby. • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). The nearest ski hill is Apex Mountain Resort in Penticton. Big White (Kelowna), Silver Star (Vernon) and Baldy Mountain (Osoyoos) are all within 2 hours drive. Guests interested in a valley/mountain holiday may stay at our 'Mountain Time' chalet at Apex Mountain Resort in combination with 'Sunrise Cottage'. • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 15 minute(s). The charming town of Summerland (population 11,000) is a short 10 minute walk along country roads. Several restaurants are located in town ranging from fine to casual dining. A 10 to 15 minute walk toward the lakeshore will take you to our local lakeshore pub, a popular spot in the summer. • Beach is located within a 15 minute(s) walk. • Nearby Attractions: Summerland is a beautiful small town nestled in the heart of the Okanagan Valley. Payment Details
50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 100) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Policies
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque (Available for guests booking 15 or more days prior to arrival) - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Cash Please note the security deposit cheque will be cashed prior to your arrival and will be reissued shortly after your departure, less any amounts for damage or charges, if any. Also please note that there may be an extra $50 charge for failing to register all your guests over and above the additional guest fee. *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed but this unit is not suitable for persons under the age of 10. • Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request. • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals). • Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM. • An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of 50.00. • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. |
