Bed Summary

Master Bedroom

1 King Bed (sleeps 2). This bedroom has very large windows to enjoy the mountain and swimming pool view with tropical landscaping below. There is also a very spacious walk-in closet in this room along with a sitting area and flat screen TV mounted on the wall. Separate air conditioner unit.

Living Room

1 Queen Hide-A-Bed/Sofa Bed (sleeps 2). The living room is roomy and the large screen TV makes for a perfect movie night! Central air conditioner.

Bathrooms

Bathroom 1 has toilet, shower, hair dryer and one basin.

View

The condo has a view of the large tropical pool area below and of the Costa Rican mountains.

More Information

There is a beach chair, beach umbrella and children's beach toys available, along with some children's puzzles and coloring books. Recycling: As much as we encourage and practice recycling ourselves, the area of Langosta and Tamarindo is currently without a recycling company to manage the separated items. What we recommend doing is trying to use as little paper and plastic as possible. Please also remember that if you take food or drinks to the beach to bring back any plastic bags or wrappers as we try our best to keep the Blue flag flying proud on both Langosta and Tamarindo beaches. (The Ecological Blue Flag program assesses the cleanliness of beaches and communities near nature destinations. Monthly or bi-monthly inspections by teams of engineers evaluate ocean and drinking water, waste disposal, environmental education and security. Those communities that pass with a score of 90 percent or greater can fly the coveted Blue flag).

Daniel Oduber Liberia International Airport is within a 45 minute(s) drive. From the Liberia Airport turn right when you get to the main road. Shortly after passing through Filadelfia and Belen, make a right turn toward Tamarindo/Playa Grande/Hacienda Pinilla. After about 20 minutes, you will come to a cross-road town called Huacas. The signs will say to turn left to go to Tamariondo. Once you enter Tamarindo Town, keep to the main road on your left you will pass TCBY Frozen Yogurt store in a mini plaza where you will also see the Bank BANEX, right after that will be an intersection where you will turn left. Turn once again at the first right (you will see the Supermercado 2001 on your left) continue driving until you get to a fork in the road where you will make a right and drive about 100 meters where the Naxos Condominium will come into view on your left.
Transit: can be reached by driving for 5 minute(s). Type of transit is Bus. You can take a public taxi, bus or private transportation from the 2 international airports in Costa Rica to the condo.
Golf: can be reached by driving for 15 minute(s). There are 3 golf course(s) nearby.
Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). The condo is within walking distance from an array of quality restaurants, shops and nightlife both in Playa Langosta and Playa Tamarindo.
Beach is located within a 3 minute(s) walk. Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is sand and rocks. Tamarindo beach in general is wonderful for everyone to swim at. It is also a great beach to learn how to boogie board or surf as the waves at low tide are manageable and the undercurrents are not that strong. There are a few rocky areas so please be careful and take note of where they are located while swimming. Langosta beach, which is located right outside the condo and reached via a 3 minute walk turning left as you leave the parking lot and then entering the Parque San Francisco on the right side of the road. There is a white pebble path in the park that leads you down to the beach. Once down on the beach the best swimming area is actually to the left in front of the Barceló Langosta Resort. At low tide we recommend crossing the river and swimming along the long stretch of white sand. This area of Langosta is truly beautiful and great for taking a morning or sunset walk. Just off the river mouth is a good beach break for surfers and boogie boarders. Take care as this break is very close to the rocky area of the beach. The river is wonderful to swim in at low tide however, we recommend always accompanying younger children because the current can change swiftly and in some areas it is over 5 feet deep. Once you notice the tide coming in please take care especially with youngsters as the currents can become quite strong, even for adults. Beach Equipment: Rentals Nearby.
Nearby Attractions: There is a variety of activities in the Langosta and Tamarindo area for people of differing tastes: golf, horseback riding, surfing, boogie boarding, hiking, ATV beach and mountain tours, deep sea fishing, Tamarindo estuary kayaking tours, scuba diving, snorkeling, Rincon de La Vieja national park tours, Arenal Volcano tours, mud baths, sailing, leather back turtle nest observing, white water rafting and so much more!

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 60 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 is required. If you cancel less than 60 days prior, payments (less 50%) are refunded if re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque (Available for guests booking 31 or more days prior to arrival) - Visa - Master Card - American Express - PayPal - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit - Discover Card
There are no refunds for the Christmas, New Years, and Easter periods.

Policies

No smoking is allowed.
Children are allowed.
Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 12:00 PM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
Maid Service is provided every 3 days during a stay. An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of $4.00 an hour.
Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
