Honeymoon cottage located absolute beachfront
This is our newest cottage & located right down on the lower part of the property, closest to the beach. The cottage has windows all around, with views of the ocean from 3 sides.

From your queen size bed you can see banana trees, hibiscus & watch the sunrise over the 1st island.

When you return from your swim it is ten steps from the beach up to the attached hot water honeymoon shower. After you've enjoyed bathing in privacy outdoors, (there is nothing like it in the world!) there is a second door that brings you right into the cottage. Now this is the way to bathe in the tropics!

Frommers describes our candlelit oceanfront restaurant as "The best food on Taveuni Island" Please plan to eat with us! A tropical Breakfast is included each day with your booking at no charge Tropical breakfast consists of coffee & tea, fresh fruit shakes, homemade coconut, banana or papaya bread, wholemeal bread, homemade muesli/granola, & fresh fruits from the garden

More Information
There is no electricity on the island of Taveuni. Coconut Grove supplies 24 hour electricity (fans over beds at night, lights as needed in the cottage, cd player) using a newly installed inverter system. Local voltage in Fiji is 240V. The bathroom has a private, attached outdoor "Honeymoon Shower". Massage by a professional masseuse is available in your cottage or in the new massage bure on the beach.

  • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). This secluded complex has its own restaurant facilities. Dinner can be served in the restaurant, on your private verandah, or down on the beach by candlelight. We lean towards fresh fish and seafood, organically grown vegetables and homemade pastas. Our restaurant is small and intimate, set on the front verandah of our island home and overlooking the ocean. Nightly rate includes any two meals per day. No alcohol is served at the resort, hence, no disco or bar. Dinner is finished by 9:00 pm.
  • Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. Beach surface is fine sand. This unit is beachfront. Local activities include a nature hike to Bouma waterfalls, lavena coastal walk, bird watching in Qeleni village, horseback riding, professional charter fishing, kayaking, full day sail or snorkeling trips. Professional diving can be arranged. The surrounding waters, known as the Somosomo Straits, are Fiji's top diving and snorkeling areas, of world-class standard.

Payment Details
There is no security/damage deposit required.
Owner accepts payments by: Visa - Master Card - PayPal
A deposit of $250 U.S.per person is required to secure the booking. If you cancel more than 45 days before the date of arrival you will get a full refund less $100. Within 45 days you will only be refunded what we are able to get on re-booking or all money may be applied to a future date within 12 months

Policies
  • Smoking is allowed.
  • Children are allowed but this unit is not suitable for persons under the age of 12.
  • Check in after 12:00 PM and check out before 9:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
  • All pets are allowed but must be approved by the Owner.
  • Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
  • Maid Service is provided daily during a stay.
  • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
