Romantic honeymoon cottage located on a private white sand beach
From every window are views of the beach & the garden, with mango trees and butterfly orchids in abundance outside. Large windows allow the warm tropical breeze to carry the scent of flowers into your room.

The cottage has a queen size bed and overhead fan. It is a spacious room with high ceilings, & the walls are covered in indigenous reeds that give the room a real island feeling. There is a large veranda in the front with two oversized chaise lounges. It is the perfect spot to spend the late afternoon & watch the colors of the sky change over the ocean as the sun sets.

    There is no electricity on the island of Taveuni. Coconut Grove supplies 24 hour electricity (fans over beds at night) using a newly installed inverter system. Local voltage in Fiji is 240 V. There are two oversized chaises longues on the deck. There is an outdoor "honeymoon" shower made from lava rocks collected from around the island. Massage by a professional masseuse right in your room is available, and chiropractic and natural medicine by arrangement.

    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). This secluded complex has its own restaurant facilities. Dinner can be served in the restaurant, on your private verandah, or down on the beach by candlelight. We lean towards fresh fish and seafood, organically grown vegetables and homemade pastas. Our restaurant is small and intimate, set on the front verandah of our island home and overlooking the ocean. Nightly rate includes any two meals per day. No alcohol is served at the resort, hence no disco or bar. Dinner is finished by 9:00 pm.
    • Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. Beach surface is fine sand. Local activities include a nature hike to Bouma waterfalls, lavena coastal walk, bird watching in Qeleni village, horseback riding, professional charter fishing, kayaking, full day sail or snorkeling trips. Professional diving can be arranged. The surrounding waters, known as the Somosomo Straits, are Fiji's top diving and snorkeling areas, of world-class standard.

    Payment Details
    All of the rent is required (45 or more days in advance) to complete the booking. There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 10%) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.

    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed but this unit is not suitable for children under the age of 12.
    • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
    • There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. Housekeeping is provided daily during a stay.
