Here you can see me sitting on the fireplace mantle with my new friends, the elephants. (I learned that elephants are the only mammal that has four knees!)
The owners of this property have done a lot of travelling and have artifacts from all over decorating this chalet.
The location is terrific; we were here in ski season, and the ski-in and ski-out was great for us. We were only 3 chalets away from the Silverwood chairlift, and going to the Silver Star village was a gorgeous 10 minute walk along the access trail. As we approached the village to view the fireworks, the night skiing runs were lit up and the ski hill looked magical.
After skiing, we relaxed in the outdoor hot tub. With the snow and trees around us, it was very relaxing.
We entertained in the open plan room; with the kitchen, living room, dining room and foyer area all ajoining, it was a fantastically social atmosphere. We put our younger visitors in the spare room to play and watch a movie, and were delighted that the layout of the chalet gave us ‘quiet time’ in main living area.
We loved the layout and location of this chalet so much that we plan to come back again next year!
